Ste Marie Thistle oil, also called Milk Thistle, is obtained by crushing the seeds of Silybum marianum. As antioxydant, it help to prevent free radical damage. It is a glutathione deficiency corrector. Traditionnaly it help to protect and rejuvenate the liver (hepatitis and alcohol or chemical induced fatty liver disorders). The active ingredient in Milk Thistle is Silymarin a group of milk thistle flavonoids which increases protein synthesis.
